Array of Gratitude Transformed My Entrepreneur Path

Array of Gratitude, recently became the parent company of the Soul Creative Brand, but it all started from a huge shift in my self care routine, as well as embracing a gift that was once hidden to me.

My focus has always been about making time to tap into your creative soul (inner spirit)! I believe you can discover more self-awareness, inspiration, and more of your authentic (higher) self, when you make more time for self-reflection! I've been on my entrepreneurial journey for over 10 years and around the time I conceived the idea of this company, I've been divinely shown, and somewhat forced, to look within. It didn't feel so "divine" when all of this happened; at that time, my life was taking a drastic turn. Little did I know I was being guided to something greater!  

Array of Gratitude started after my body had complete burnt out in 2016. Before my burnout, I went through a long stretch of searching for the "perfect job". At that time, I was also trying to keep my head above water, in the mist of maintaining my own business, and upholding an on and off freelance design position. It was a very hard and a long journey of finding a job to support myself. Being told by numerous design jobs that I'm too experienced or not exactly qualified (when my portfolio clearly showed I had the skills) was so draining. The job "carousel" added more stress, mentally, emotionally, and physically; it made me feel like I had the worst luck. Many of the jobs that hired me, gave me medial work, that had nothing to do with the position I was hired for. I was under-paid and exhausted from trying to handle everything. I took on a lot of responsibilities in my personal life, and being an entrepreneur became daunting. After spending 5 years in NYC's hustle & bustle, my body burned out, and I was an emotional wreck. The brand I was trying to maintain failed, and I felt stuck.

After all this happened, I stepped away from the computer and stopped everything! I needed to focus on my health. Even though I felt pretty hopeless at that time, I couldn't stop coming up with design inspirations. Then one day I decided to paint. I hadn't painted since high school but it was so therapeutic it became a routine, while I also learned about meditation. It was my little piece of heaven, which opened me up to my emotions and soon to my higher self. It gave me the self-reflection time I needed to nurture myself and connect more into my spiritual health. I began meditating regularly, and collecting other self-developing tools that I started applying towards my practice.

My Very First Workshop

From 2018-19, I conducted paint workshops, helping people relax and reflect with meditations and aromatherapy. People left the classes saying they felt their "soul spark"! That's when Array of Gratitude really started to grow it's wings.

In 2020, my personal healing journey began to deepen, as I became an official life coach, which changed the vision of Array of Gratitude and started to broaden my offers with creative healing tools (aka soul care tools) that worked for me and my soul growth! 

As a designer at heart, I love to encourage others to understand the importance of "soul care", and guide their spiritual development through creativity! I also incorporate my expertise of design & branding for those enlightened to their spiritual nature along their path of entrepreneurship, bridging the gap between personal & business growth. Learning about yourself and your purpose through life is a healing journey in itself, but when you can learn to trust your path while expanding your gifts to share with others, it brings so much more fulfillment.

    -Say your keywords out loud early in videos

    -Add keyword overlays in text captions

    -Name your video files using SEO keyword

    Final Tips:

    1. Clarity – Be clear about what they’ll get ("Download this free ritual guide")

    2. Simplicity – Make your landing page mobile-friendly and distraction-free

Root Chakra ❤️ 🌳 Balancing: Being Present is a Gift!

The root chakra is where your sense of stability, safety, and grounding reside. This chakra is the foundation for your entire energy system—when balanced, it creates a solid base from which you can build your desired reality! Remember in the previous post I talked about your basic needs with your Sacral Chakra? Here in the Root Chakra, we meet our feelings of security and safety head-on. This safety can come from the environment we are in or from a deeper sense of feeling at home within our own bodies.



As you know there are multiple sides to this. When we experience trauma, we can subconsciously disconnect from our sense of safety, leading us to feel hyper-vigilant. This state of constant worry often doesn't feel like "home", giving us an out-of-body experience, where we let our thoughts control us (crown chakra); keeping us focused on external circumstances rather than our internal well-being. This disconnection can also cause us to live in the past too, replaying fears of unresolved emotions tied to trauma. Do you see how synonymous the crown and root (top & bottom) are?

 

Being present, by contrast, means consciously recognizing your body and its power. You can move it, guide it, and even choose how to feel in it. The root chakra invites you to reconnect with this awareness and reclaim your stability. And let me remind you again... we are spirits having a human experience, which means, it's vital to bring ourselves in to balance... especially if we are trying to create something!

 

The root chakra is where you get to see, feel, touch, taste, and hear the manifestations that originated from your crown chakra. It’s the tangible, living reality we co-create with the universe—a physical representation of your desires brought to life. However, holding onto fear can block this process.




Let's talk about a few signs when your Root Chakra is off balance

 

Physical clutter: A messy, chaotic space reflects your internal state of mind. Not everyone is neat & tidy, but things don't have to be disarray, junky and unorganized either.

Financial instability: Struggles with money or an inability to feel secure in your income can signal an imbalance. Money is also energy and subconsciously (or consciously) can reflect your beliefs around giving or receiving a certain amount of money.

Disconnection: Feeling lost, directionless, or ungrounded in your daily life is connected to your loss of purpose in your own life.

Excessive fear: Constantly worrying or feeling unsafe, even when there’s no immediate threat only creates more negativity.

Health complications: If your spiritual wellness is off balance, you will also be off mentally & emotionally, which then causes further distress and dis-ease towards your physical health.

 

When you can recognize these symptoms, you may also relate to being caught in survival mode. When we can recognize where your source of stress is, you can stop to cycles of feeling trapped in y patterns of survival.




When you're in survival mode, your primal instincts are actived —your fight, flight, or freeze responses get involved to protect you. This can be helpful to give you the ability to sense danger, act decisively, and take care of your basic needs. But when you’re not present, or in survival for too long, you can become disconnected from your everday needs, leaving you laser focused on the main thing you DON'T want to happen!

 

Though meditation and mindfulness practices help you with more self-awareness & being present too. It allows you to honor the natural rhythm of your body and its needs. Think of it like this, when you notice the way your breath fills your lungs, the strength of your muscles as you move, or the stability of your feet on the ground, thats your grounded awareness. Connect with yourself deeply to feel grounded to your root chakra. Try to stay out of your head, catch yourself when you find yourself overthinking, or being consumed by fear because all of that will make you miss the signals your body is sending—signals that guide you toward safety, stability, and trust. Being present allows you to reconnect with this primal WISDOM, helping you to act in alignment with your true needs.

 

Releasing fear is key to manifesting your heart’s desires. Fear creates resistance, which keeps you stuck in patterns of lack or limitation. Letting go allows the energy of abundance to flow freely, grounding your dreams into reality, as energy moves freely through your aligned chakras.



Through your presence, you begin to understand that your body is not just a vessel—it’s a source of power, intuition, and connection.



Here's a few practical tips to bring balance to your Root Chakra & cultivate presence !

  • Body Scanning: Sit quietly and bring awareness to each part of your body, starting from your toes and working upward. Notice sensations without judgment.

  • Mindful Breathing: Focus on the rhythm of your breath. Count each inhale and exhale to anchor your awareness as you stomach and rib cage move.

  • Grounding Visualization: Imagine roots growing from your feet into the earth, anchoring you firmly as you sit still.

  • Movement with Intention: Engage in activities like yoga, stretching, or walking, paying attention to how your body feels with each movement.

  • Engage Your Senses: Touch, taste, smell, see, and hear your surroundings with intention. For example, feel the texture of the ground beneath your feet or savor the flavors of your food.

  • Focus on Basic Needs: Prioritize rest, nutritious meals, and a consistent self-care routine to establish a sense of stability.

  • Shadow Work: Understanding your insecurities and self saboteurs are a great way to find the root of subconscious fears & limited beliefs that keep you stuck in cycles that stunt your growth.

 

Step into your power, and trust in the process of manifestation as a stable foundation that gives your the abundance that you deserve.

Sacral Chakra 🧡 Balancing: Be Playful, Be Happy & Be Grateful 🙏

The power of celebrating your small wins is a serious thing. It helps you tap into the frequency of gratitude. As we discussed in the Heart Chakra post before, the magnetism of the heart is VERY powerful. When I say "celebrate", I don't mean doing something drastic. Sometimes, something as simple as acknowledging that you completed a task and being present with the happiness it brings, can be just as powerful!

Experiencing pleasure is deeply connected to the sacral chakra. Some people might think pleasure is "taboo" or solely about sex, but it's deeper than that. It’s about your senses, your ability to feel, and your connection to sensuality. If you ever felt stuck in procrastination, dealt with exhaustion, or have been obsessively fixated on the need to act on something -- that is your signal to be present with your emotions! Listening to how you feel will guide you in the direction of what needs healing (nourishment) and will definitely let you know where you aren't getting your needs met. 



Let's talk about the difference between your feelings and your emotions really quick! When you can understand the difference, you can understand why your emotions aren't as logical as you think. 

  • Feelings are how your mind tries to make sense of an emotional response in your body. Based on your thoughts and your experiences, your ego comes up with stories to help you understand.

  • Emotions, on the other hand, are raw biological and physiological sensations triggered by situations. They’re your body’s way of signaling, “feel this!” instead of letting your mind create a narrative about the experience.

  • To my evolved empaths; you have acknowledged the gift of your intuition that has its own emotional intelligence -- to feel deeply enough to understand where you are feeling the sensation in your body & to know your own sense enough to differentiate someone else's energy vs yours. I hope to talk more about this throughout my posts... if you stick around!

 

This is why I say, "our emotions aren't really right or wrong". Emotions are simply frequencies—low or high, dense or light; they are energy in motion! By removing judgment, you allow energy to flow through your body, rather than getting trapped by self created narratives. Have you ever recognized how sometimes when we're afraid or anxious we tend to hold our breath or start to breathe very shallow? Holding your breath is like trapping energy inside. Instead, we can recognize how we feel when we are contracting our flow, and try to start breathing deeper. This can consciously help release our emotions. Look into "somatic therapy", where this can be explained in more detail.



The feeling of joy can be incredibly nourishing for the sacral chakra. In a way, it can also act as a form of parenting your inner child. As adults, we often forget we don’t need permission to treat ourselves well. Taking care of your basic needs, like prioritizing rest, can bring joy and vitality into your life. Who doesn't want that? Rest isn't just about recovery; it’s also about rejuvenating your energy so you feel lively and vibrant. Personally, I find that giving myself this space creates more confidence and colorful energy within me! Child-like, jovial energy always involves joy, and having this feeling allows you to foster more soul nourishment.

 

Another thing I want to point out about the sacral chakra is the physical location-- the gut! Our gut is often called our second brain too. It’s not just about digestion—it’s where our beliefs about ourselves live, shaping our sense of self-worth. When the sacral chakra is balanced, it helps us release "limiting" beliefs that keep us stuck in cycles of shame or inadequacy. How can you believe you're a divine being, if your sense of self-esteem is low? Instead, we can cultivate beliefs that affirm our inherent worth, our soul sovereignty, and the ability to create a fulfilling life.



A balanced sacral chakra supports this process by helping you release stored energy and express emotions freely. This balance not only enhances your emotional well-being but also fuels your creativity. As a soul-led entrepreneur, I’ve learned how challenging it can be to create when my emotions feel scattered or unsettled. Dealing with these feelings and releasing them is essential for clear, aligned creativity—whether it’s crafting a project or designing aspects of your business.

Tips to help balance your Sacral Chakra:

1. Engage in creative activities: Painting, dancing, or cooking can help unlock the flow of energy in this chakra.

2. Practice movement: Yoga, especially hip-opening poses, helps release stored tension in the pelvic area. This is also why dancing is great for your sacral! Sex is great too!

3. Prioritize pleasure: Dedicate time to things that bring you joy, whether it’s enjoying a favorite meal, taking a long bath, or connecting with nature.

4. Embrace soul care rituals: Massage, aromatherapy, or tools such as cards where you can daily pull from your deck and reflect intuitively. Writing about how you feel can be great to accompany any of your practices, so you can process emotions and understand its patterns.

5. Meditate near water: The sacral chakra is associated with the water element. Meditating by a natural body of water, taking a mindful shower, or visualizing flowing water not only calms & centers your energy, it also can enhance the balance of your sacral energy.

 

By integrating these practices into your routine, you can align with the vibrant, creative energy of your sacral chakra. Balance brings freedom—freedom to feel, to create, and to live a joyful (fulfilling) life. Solar Plexus Chakra 💛☀️ Know Your Personal Power

The Solar Plexus can be your driving force, if you have the courage to take action!

 

Through confidence comes self assurance. It's the fact that you're ok with yourself (in a self loving way) even when others don't like you. Having strength is also having the ability to embrace your weaknesses, because you're able to see them as a source of growth, not a place of lack!



When you get stuck in perfectionism, or a loop of procrastination, you begin to drain your energy from your own mental exhaustion. Somewhere in your energy field, you've created the mentality of not having enough! Understanding your priorities would be a great place to start "working" through this energy (your thoughts & emotions). When you have a goal, which can also be your intention, you are streamlining your thoughts. This doesn't drain your energy because your goal makes it known that this is where you want to act on. It's kinda like driving somewhere. Your energy is the gas, your mind is the car and your intuition is the GPS!

 

  • If you're going some place you already know, the drive will be ez. You know where to go and how much gas it takes.

  • If you're going somewhere you have never been, imagine not using your GPS and just winging it, without any verbal directions. You'd probably get lost & use way more gas then you needed.

 

With directions of how to get to point A to point B, you'll know which way to go & how much gas it takes to get there. This is my point when setting a goal & trusting that action plan to accomplish it. And yes, not ALL goals go as planned, but with confidence, determination, and self-control... you'll find the way!



The Solar Plexus or the (SOL)are, is the soul's generator. It's like how the sun gives life to everything on this earth! It has the ability to generate a certain power within you that doesn't stem from a "right or wrong" way because it operates from will power -- the strength (self confidence) that turns your ideas into action! It's source energy channeled into movement!

 

Having the courage to face your fears like believing in yourself, instead of doubt, allows you to gain wisdom in the areas that are weak (or less used). This also allows your ego to have peace, instead of always wanting to be "right" & feeling like a constant battle to make a decision. Believing in yourself steers you in the direction of your soul path too... so trust your unique qualities & embrace ALL parts of you! Remember you are divine ✨️



A balanced Solar Plexus detaches from self-judgement because you no longer need to make choices attached to (the beliefs you have with) anxiety, despair, or even the fear of fucking up. You will start to notice the feeling of empowerment, when balanced, and notice the abundance of opportunities coming your way! You'll see your ability to change through the process of creativity -- ideas, action, & creation!

 

When you can make time to discovery what inspires you, you find a deep well of wisdom and find true fulfillment! These feelings of happiness & satisfaction dispel perfectionism and procrastination. Being in tune with this balanced energy give you autonomy; the self-control to trust the decisions you make, rather than being influenced by someone else. You'll know that the universe has your back... what's meant for you will be there for you! This is when you will know your Solar Plexus is in a balanced space and it will be a lot easier to know you are walking in your purpose.

 

Here are a few ways to help you balance your Solar Plexus. 

  • Excercise; doing something that gets your heart rate up & your blood flowing ignites the fiery energy in that area. Major organs that help you digest food are connects to your Solar Plexus too! Gently movement like yoga & qigong to a cardio workout can be great.

  • Sun gazing; being in the sun not only makes you feel good, it's gives you energy. Sun gazing helps with energy, improves immune function & boosts the function of your pineal gland.

  • Making a routine, ritual, or practice of something that improves your skills of your choice also helps. Repetition builds momentum, as well as confidence. My favorite tool to use are my cards, since it helps with gratitude, relaxation, and strengthening your intuition!
